The Deck
"How can we spur conversation about kinks in a way that feels fun and organic?"
The Deck of Kink is a deck for both players and collectors. The base deck is comprised of 100 thoughtfully crafted cards, each defining a kink, accompanied by a description and illustration.
At its core, the deck serves as a tool for encouraging discussion about kinks and sexuality - a matter that can be awkward to broach without a good context for discussion. Even among kink-experienced company, the deck is a great way to share stories and gain new glimpses into why folks like what they like.
The deck supports numerous play styles - all effortless to pick up in casual settings.
Play Styles
Endless ways to use this deck; here are 3 ways that we like!
Dungeon Crafters
Dim the lights and light your candles; the council has gathered together to craft their ideal dungeon. Players take turns sharing their commentary about each kink, telling stories, and deciding whether that kink will be featured in their dungeon.

Devil's Advocate
Players will take turns making the best possible case for why each kink might be enjoyable or worth exploring. Thereafter, each player will vote on who made the best case.

Kink Charades
Use the deck for a classic charades-style game. Form teams in which one player blindly holds a kink card above their head while their teammates must get them to guess the kink - either using words - or to make things interesting - purely through acting out.

Working with Our Artists
From its outset, The Deck of Kink was envisioned as an Artist-forward project. In our present age during which many artists are feeling the squeeze of AI, we seek to fuel a project which gives artists a stake in our success.
Artists contributing to The Deck of Kink will be eligible to sign a generous profit-sharing agreement.
Use of AI is strictly forbidden in the creation of our card illustrations.

The goal of Smut Lovers is to bring together the lovers of all things smutty, in a safe and loving environment, to learn from each other and share what we know. This multi day event will be filled with workshops, panels, demonstrations all about writing and reading Kink and BDSM.
